Lawton Memorial Hall Trust is seeking to employ a hall administration manager and booking clerk to help run our fantastic community venue. We are looking for a ‘can do’ attitude and a person who enjoys a job with lots of variety. Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency are essential.
The Memorial Hall, a registered charity, is situated in the heart of Church Lawton and provides a venue for community events and activities.
The job holder will be employed by Church Lawton Parish Council, who are the sole trustee, and will be primarily responsible for managing the hall bookings and day to day administration but will also get involved with event organisation and promotion. The ideal candidate will be innovative and will enjoy working with the volunteers and assisting in putting together an itinerary of community and fundraising events. The role will also involve assisting to organise hall maintenance and safety checks, liaising with support staff and contractors and with various hirers to ensure the hall and events run smoothly and efficiently.
Benefits include flexible working, mostly from home, with working hours mostly able to suit the job holder as long as the Memorial Hall needs are met. Full training can be provided.
