Cllr M Bleasebourne

Member of Parish Council

My life has been intertwined with Church Lawton. Family ties with the village go back to the early 1900’s when my father grew up here, served as an Auxiliary Fireman in 1939, and returned after serving in Africa in WW2.

My parents were married in All Saints Church and lived here until 1953. I moved back here in 1978 and have lived here for most of my married life. I also worked as a teacher at Lawton Hall School from 1976 to 1980.

My role as a parish councillor links my past with my present and uses the skills I developed in my career in teaching and in business. It is a way of supporting the local community and helping to make Church Lawton a safe place to live and enhancing the well-being of all its residents.
